NBBQA School for Competition Cooking; 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ($400)
Since 2001 Todd Johns' team, Pork Pullin' Plowboys, has earned nearly 350 BBQ awards including 17 grand championships, 13 reserve grand championships and 10 reserve championships. Todd will cover all aspects of competition cooking including chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder and brisket. He will walk you through setup, cook temps, timing, rack position, cleaning and maintenance for all cookers used in the class. Competition meat choice, prep and presentation will be covered in detail. Multiple GC's, RGC's, 180's and other top finishes have been earned by teams after taking Todd's classes ... now it's your turn!

MBN Judging School; 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ($90)
Interested in being a trained BBQ judge? Class participants will become certified to judge Memphis Barbecue Network sanctioned cook-offs. This class will be taught by former MBN president Randy McGee.  
  
Meet the Masters; 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  ($50)
Want one-on-one advice from the masters of 'cue? Get your questions answered by some of the industry's most respected and successful competitors, caterers and restaurateurs. Meet with three of the following BBQ masters for 30 minutes each in a small group setting to discuss your interests. Whether you're looking to start a BBQ business, launch a competition team or just want advice on making your best 'cue ever, don't miss this opportunity.

KCBS Judging School; 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  ($90)
Want to be certified to judge KCBS sanctioned BBQ competitions? Kansas City Barbeque Society board member Gene Goycochea will teach this certifying course to make you an official BBQ judge.

Seating is limited for all optional events. Advance registration is strongly recommended and is available by calling 888-909-2121.
