If you’ve ever thought about opening your own barbecue restaurant or catering business, now is the time to find out what it really takes. The NBBQA Pitmaster Apprentice Program offers aspiring talent a chance to experience the business of barbecue first hand. Apprentices will participate in a two to four day immersion at a successful barbecue operation under the guidance of a recognized pitmaster. While the process for making great barbecue will be covered, the program is designed to be much more than that. From dishwashing to bookkeeping, every aspect of running the business will be covered.
