Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful event. The National Barbecue Association partnered with the Kansas City Barbeque Society and the Steak Cookoff Association to put on, not one, but two competitions during the NBBQA Old-Fashioned Barbecue Bash on Saturday, March 8.
 
The NBBQA hosted the KCBS-sanctioned BBQ Bash Cookoff on the final day of the 2014 NBBQA Conference & Trade Show, when barbecue enthusiasts from the general public joined conference attendees for a special celebration focused on the art and enjoyment of barbecue. In addition to the cookoffs, events included:
 
  • Live music from a great local band
  • A "people's choice" competition for best BBQ sauce
  • “How to Q” presentations from celebrity pit masters and grillers
  • A BBQ tradeshow with all the latest products and equipment
  • Barbecue judging and cooking classes
  • And much more!
