Pack your shades and your beach towels! The National Barbecue Association is headed to sunny southern California.

From its origins in the south, barbecue has grown into a national phenomenon. This year’s conference theme, BBQ Coast to Coast–Bold Flavors and Bright Ideas, was developed with that in mind. Holding this event on the west coast for the first time is the perfect opportunity to showcase barbecue’s influence across the country—from the traditional favorites to California’s own Santa Maria style, and all points in between. The conference will feature educational seminars, restaurant tours, networking opportunities, barbecue all-stars and even a cooking competition.

The conference hotel will be the Crowne Plaza San Diego in Mission Valley, close to all the city’s finest attractions. Make plans now to attend!
