Professional Bio
Dennis was born and raised in Crosby, Texas just east of Houston. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the US Army as a 19K Armor Crewman on an M1A1 Abrams Battle Tank and was stationed in Vilsek, Germany. As a member of 1-63 Armor, Dennis was deployed to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia with the United Nations where he worked alongside soldiers from all around the world to help maintain peace in the country. He enrolled in college after his enlistment came to an end and graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2007 with a degree in Radio & Television and a Minor in Spanish. In 2017, Dennis founded WarPig BBQ LLC. Warpig BBQ creates elite, competition level BBQ products at grocery store prices. All of WarPig BBQ’s products donate revenue back to different veterans charities including the Folds of Honor. His first product FUBAR (For Use on Butts And Ribs) won HEB’s Quest For Texas Best contest. This catapulted his business onto the main stage of grocery retail. FUBAR sold quickly and became the number one selling premium BBQ sauce in all of HEB. Since inception 3 years ago, WarPig BBQ has donated over $60,000 to veteran’s charities. As Dennis continues to grow his product catalog, he is constantly searching for new ways to give back to the veteran community while expanding his retail footprint across the country.
