Grinders Restaurants, Chances Social - a new coffee shop featuring craft cocktails, GrindersXRDS (or Grinders Crossroads), (USA Today's #1 Pick for "Best Kansas City Nightlife") and even their retail support “sister company,” STRETCH Specialties, LLC, which creates and sells Grinders Signature Hot Sauces, T-shirts and other fun merchandise, have each gained world-wide notoriety, thanks in part, to owner STRETCH’s appearances on hit television shows like: Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives; Guys Big Bite; Cutthroat Kitchen; and more recently, Guy's Grocery Games; Travel Channel’s "Pizza Paradise", Spike TV’s "Bar Rescue", Animal Planet’s “Eating the Enemy,” Discovery Channel’s Monster House, Destination America’s BBQ Pitmasters, and even multiple appearances on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. STRETCH continues to tour the world several times a year, entertaining & feeding US military personnel with Messlords, a globetrotting troop of fellow celebrity chefs in collaboration with Navy MWR. In 2018 STRETCH: unleashed Grinders a Go Go – a food truck with wood fired pizza; Grinders by STRETCH began franchising; Grinders Signature Hot Sauces launched Grinders BBQ Sauce & Meat RUB, a BBQ seasoning (& a treat for your meat;) and the Grinders BBQ team achieved a perfect score at the American Royal in the Chicken category & also competed in the prestigious “Memphis in May” World Championship Barbecue Cooking contest. 2019 promises to be just as exciting with plans include: “Chance’s Social” - a VIP space, coffee, cocktail & cigar venue; XRDS-BBQ a quick service Kansas City style BBQ pop-up restaurant; more competitions & awards for the Grinders BBQ Competition Team & international tours.
