Greg Hastie is the President and Owner of GDD Partners Inc, operating American Fire BBQ Grilling Supply and The Kansas City BBQ Store, two of Kansas City, Missouri’s premier destinations for barbecue enthusiasts. An entrepreneur and retail leader, Greg has spent the past five years building stores that serve everyone from backyard grillers to seasoned competition teams.

Before stepping behind the retail counter, Greg spent more than 12 years cooking on the competition BBQ circuit, developing the hands-on experience and product knowledge that now helps guide customers, teams, and brands across the barbecue industry. His background in competition cooking, retail leadership, and sales and operations gives him a unique perspective on what pitmasters and grillers truly need to succeed.

Whether he’s helping a first-time griller pick their first smoker or talking shop with seasoned competitors, Greg believes barbecue is about more than great food—it’s about community, tradition, and the freedom to gather around fire and smoke.
