Garett “Uncle Hemmy” Hemstock is the founder of Uncle Hemmy BBQ, an Alberta, Canada based BBQ brand built on bold flavour, community, and smoke-tested authenticity. Born in Fort McMurray and now based in the Edmonton area, Garett has spent years grilling, smoking, and experimenting with spices to create blends that are approachable, versatile, and anything but boring.

What started as a backyard passion quickly grew into a full-blown pursuit of flavour, with every blend developed through real cooks on everything from brisket and ribs to chicken and vegetables. Uncle Hemmy BBQ focuses on big taste, local roots, and products that bring people together around the grill.
