The National Barbecue & Grilling Association is proud to announce that its 36th Annual Conference will return to the Nashville area in 2027, bringing the barbecue and grilling community together in one of America’s most celebrated food and entertainment destinations.

"Starting in 2027, the Annual Conference will be held during the third weekend of March while utilizing the massive fairgrounds and buildings that Wilson County Fairgrounds and Fiddlers Grove has to offer,” said NBBQA Managing Partners Janet and Kell Phelps. “Partnering with Smoke on the Shores allows us to connect with hundreds of competitors already traveling to the Nashville area, creating more value and continuing to build a gathering that serves the full barbecue and grilling industry.”

“We are excited to welcome the National Barbecue & Grilling Association to Lebanon and to host their conference during Smoke on the Shores week,” said Jason Cole, Co-Founder and CEO of Smoke on the Shores BBQ Championship. “Bringing these events together creates a tremendous opportunity for competitors, sponsors, exhibitors, and barbecue enthusiasts.”

The NBBQA Annual Conference has long served as a national gathering place for barbecue business owners, pitmasters, caterers, restaurateurs, sauce and rub makers, product companies, media members, and industry leaders. The 2027 event is expected to build on that tradition with expanded opportunities for education, networking, business development, live-fire programming, and community celebration.

Additional details, including official dates, registration, hotel accommodations, sponsor opportunities, and the full schedule, will be announced in the coming months.
