The Last Seats for Nashville: A Final Call for the 2026 NBBQA Conference
The barbecue community has always been built around a simple idea: when the fire is burning, there’s room for conversation, learning, and friendship around the pit.
In just a few short weeks, that spirit will come alive again in Nashville, Tennessee, as the National Barbecue & Grilling Association gathers for its 35th Anniversary Conference, March 25–28, 2026.
Over the past several months, pitmasters, restaurant owners, sauce and rub makers, backyard enthusiasts, and industry partners from across the country—and even from Canada—have been making plans to attend.
And now, we are almost full.
At the time of writing this update, there are:
10 Full Conference Passes remaining
10 BBQ Restaurant & Bourbon Bus Tour tickets remaining
Like every event of this size, there are practical details behind the scenes. Our catering team has already received our initial attendance numbers and has graciously given us a few additional days to finalize our count.
They have asked us to submit our final headcount by March 20.
Once those numbers are turned in to the kitchen, registration will officially close.
That means the next few days represent the final opportunity to join us in Nashville for this milestone gathering.
Why This Year Matters
This year’s conference is not just another annual meeting.
It marks 35 years of the National Barbecue & Grilling Association, an organization built by people who believed that barbecue was more than food—it was culture, craft, and community.
Over those decades, NBBQA has brought together thousands of people who share a love for the fire: restaurant owners learning from one another, product makers developing new ideas, media telling the stories of barbecue traditions, and backyard cooks discovering a deeper appreciation for the craft.
In Nashville, we’ll celebrate that legacy while also looking forward to the future of the barbecue industry.
What Awaits in Nashville
The 2026 conference will feature:
-
Conversations with respected pitmasters and barbecue leaders
-
Educational sessions for restaurant owners and entrepreneurs
-
Networking with people who share a passion for barbecue
-
Live-fire cooking and demonstrations
-
The opportunity to build relationships that often last a lifetime
And for those joining the BBQ Restaurant & Bourbon Bus Tour, there will also be a chance to experience Nashville’s renowned barbecue scene firsthand.
But more than anything, the conference offers something harder to describe: the feeling of being surrounded by people who understand the work, the creativity, and the joy that barbecue brings.
The Final Invitation
If you have been thinking about attending, this is the moment.
There are still a few seats at the table—but not many.
We would be honored to have you join us in Nashville as we celebrate 35 years of the NBBQA community and the people who continue to keep the fire burning.
