2023 NBBQA Fire Fight Challenge
Craig Carter, 2022 SCA Ancillary Point World Champion, helped us create a brand new event for the 2023 NBBQA conference and it promises to be a great kickoff to the conference. Craig will also act as the official referee for this All-Star BBQ throwdown. This event was created for attendees to have a fun and tasty experience as we welcome them to Orlando for the annual conference and expo on Wednesday evening February 15, 2023.
The event will be known as the NBBQA Fire Fight Reception and is sponsored by Prairie Fresh. Todd Johns (plowboysbbq.com), Kathy Pullin (pullinpremiumbbq.com), Rob and Amy Dopp (rumrunnersbbq.com), Casey and Judy Jones (facebook.com/Miracleinthekitchen) will be competing and serving up samples to attendees while Susie Bulloch (heygrillhey.com) will be emceeing the event. Contestants will prepare an appetizer, main dish, and dessert for a panel of five celebrity judges while also dishing out sample offerings to attendees. The winner will take home a custom championship belt that is being created specifically for this event.
