The National Barbecue & Grilling Association (NBBQA) and Barbecue News Magazine are thrilled to announce the 2024 FUNraiser Photo Contest. This contest is a fantastic opportunity for BBQ enthusiasts, photographers, and grill masters to shine while supporting a worthy cause.

Contest Details

Entry Rules


  • Your photo must be BBQ or grilling-themed and taken by you within the last 18 months.


  • The entry period opens on June 15, 2024.
  • Email your entries along with the entry form to GRAPHICS@BARBECUENEWS.COM.
  • Entry fees can be paid via debit/credit card or by mailing a check with the entry form.

Entry Fee:

  • $50 per photo submission.


  • All entries must be received by August 1, 2024, by 5 PM EST.  Get your entry form here!


  • Every dollar from the entry fees benefits the Barbecue News Magazine & NBBQA Scholarship Program.


  • 1st Place: Your photo on the front cover of the September 2024 issue.
  • 2nd Place: A full-page feature inside the September 2024 issue.
  • 3rd Place: A half-page feature inside the September 2024 issue.

Additional Information

  • By entering, you grant permission for your photo to be used by Barbecue News Magazine and NBBQA for promotional purposes.
  • The contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers.
  • Multiple entries are allowed; each requires a separate entry fee.
  • Photos will be judged on creativity, quality, and relevance to BBQ and grilling.
